3M™ Leap™ III Finish Blocking Pads 1693M hold the lens firmly in place while being ground, helping to reduce slippage and errors. It consists of a die-cut black foam tape pad, that is coated on both sides with a pressure sensitive rubber based adhesive, on a paper liner.
The tape is wound with a liner on both sides of the roll, a die cut liner on the face side of the piece and a carrier liner wound on the inside of the roll. Each pad has a white tab in place to assist in removal after edging is complete.
